We love giving back to our community and one of the ways we do so is by selling Entertainment Books to fundraise for causes we believe in. So far this year we have donated over $350 to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and Plan Canada (to help families in Haiti). Each book you buy from us contributes to a gift of giving. Look At How Much We Saved...!!!

Last year I decided to record exactly how much we saved using the 2009 Entertainment Book. For the course of the year my husband and I ordered 3 books (2 books for Toronto and 1 book for Vancouver). Most of the savings were for restaurants as we love to eat out and try new foods! The 2-for-1 attractions really came in handy when we took our out of town visitors sight-seeing. We also found significant savings while booking our vacations to New York City and Florida (being able to save on hotels and airport parking). So drum roll please...

Total savings: $2628

$1340 from the dining and fast food sections
$360 on dry cleaning
$48 on movies
$240 for hotels
$40 for Park N' Fly
$140 for shopping and groceries
$25 on pet food
$230 on attractions and events
$180 on green fee at golf courses
$25 for an oil change

Even I was astonished and had to triple check my spreadsheet when I saw how much we actually saved! And all 3 books cost less than $100! Now the fun part... with these savings here are some of the things we treated ourselves to:
